Just saying though, there is a reason Nigeria is called the giant of Nigeria, though we are not perfect we have the worst of leaders, and we are even going to have a coup soon, cos our election was a violation of human rights, but inwardly Nigerians are people who can make things happen.

No matter how many years we must have gotten accustomed to the lifestyle of another country; there is no home like Naija. Nothing has been able to replace that homesick and longing that comes when we stay away from the country for a long time. The charm and comfort we get when we are with our loved ones cannot be bought with material wealth.

Yah! If there is one thing that stands Nigerians out anywhere in the world, it is their sense of communal spirit. We are quick to embrace other Nigerians as brothers and sisters once we realize that they come from Nigeria, we are at home with them. We love the family life and this has become our trademark.

We are one special breed of humans on planet earth. Even though we are very hard-working yet, we do not spare money when it comes to luxury and the beautiful things of life. Before you can say Jack, the latest gadget in the world is already in Nigeria. We love life and this is why our weekends are filled with parties and excitement.

The never give up live make me like my country, each time i see team nigeria in the field of play and the green an white flag is flown high an moreso in victory i love nigeria, also each time i read about nigerian nationalist or hear of any nigerian expert in any field of life ,been celebrated,or see any nigerians bing in a center of Positive activities making things happen passion for my country run in me an when i wake up in the morning, despite all the problem nigeria have gotten to see we are not in a state of war,My heart is always full of love for my country.

As an International Student in America, going back home to your country can be quite hard; due to the expenses that come with it. This summer I was opportune and blessed to return back to my motherland. There are 36 states in Nigeria, I visited only my home state, Lagos. Lagos is the business capital of Nigeria. It is the New York of Nigeria. The main reason I went back home was to surprise my mother on her birthday and it was definitely worth the expense. Memories were created to last a lifetime. That was my main reason for coming back, but as soon as I was back, I found many other reasons why I love and have missed my beloved country, Nigeria. Nigeria is a country blessed with so many natural resources and beautiful and talent individuals. I am so proud to be called Nigerian and I want the world to know how special and beautiful my country is. There are so many bad stereotypes about Nigeria. I feel like it is my duty as a Nigerian to portray my country in a good light. These are my reasons why I love and miss Nigeria.

This is probably the first and most important reason for missing and loving my country. Going back home gave me the opportunity to see my beloved family physically again. Family time is very important in one's life. I saw all my cousins, uncles, aunts, Grandaunts and My immediate family. I got to also see all my childhood friends that I have grown a strong bond with. Going back home, made me realize that in life, we are all on a journey and so matter how far we go in that journey, we should never forget those that made that journey begin.

Nigeria is a country blessed with so much history. Although the country gained its independence from Britain in 1960 , Nigeria was formed in 1914. So it has a lot of interesting history attached to it. I'm privileged to stay in an estate that was the reasons why Nigeria was formed. I stay in a house where the colonial masters stayed in and my house is over 80 years old. I also got to a explore a museum at Railway Compound, Lagos, Nigeria called the Jaekel House; this museum is over 120 years old and has a lot of rich history attached to it.

OH! The food. I have missed Nigeria delicacies so much. Staying in a place like Cleveland, Tennessee, it is easier to find a needle in a haystack than to find an African food market. The first thing I did after I got down from the plane was to order one of the various Nigerian food options that were available. Nigerian food does not just satisfy your want for food but it satisfies the soul. I love Nigerian food!!

If Nigeria is not already on your bucket list of places to travel, then I think you should look at the list again. Nigeria is where the future is going to be built. It is going shine when it must shine, shine brighter than any other nation. There are so much more reasons why I love and miss Nigeria but these are top six reasons why I really missed home.

Who would have imagined that when we met that we would mean so much to each other now. You have nudged your way into my anxious and guarded heart in the smoothest of fashions. There is no one that I would rather spend the holidays with, no one I would rather drag to the mall for holiday shopping, and no one I would rather struggle with when trying to find the "perfect" present that tells you how much I love you. I can not wait to engulf ourselves into winter activities and there is no one I would rather have pull me around on ice skates. I am taking this time to thank you for all you have done for me in 2015... you surely deserve it.

Although I think my family may possibly like you more, you recognize how important my family is to me and have been in no way short of showing them love. You are not just a part of my life, but theirs as well and that makes them incredibly happy.

Nothing is better then being warm and comfortable with the people you love. If you and your family are spending Christmas eve by being warm at home, then get some holiday pajamas to wear around the house! You will still look dressed for the holidays, and pictures will come out really cute!

There'll be much mistltoeing

And hearts will be glowing

When loved ones are near

It's the most wonderful time

Yes the most wonderful time

Oh the most wonderful time

Of the year

Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, Right down Santa Claus lane He doesn't care if you're rich or poor He loves you just the same Santa Claus knows we're all Gods children That makes everything right So fill your hearts with Christmas cheer 'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight!

tag_hash_107Winter fashion is my favorite kind of fashion; I adore scarves and boots and jeans and sweaters. I love being warm, so being able to wear big sweaters and warm jeans is naturally the fashion I prefer.

In the mall nearest to me, there is a store dedicated just to Christmas ornaments. Whenever I go to that mall, I end up wandering into the ornament store, just browsing through all the different ornaments. There are so many and they are all so different, and I love looking at them all.

WE LOVE LOVE LOVE your family and all you do! I was wondering do you have anything on the site that shows what you do with the goats milk? I work a 8-5 office job and seriously thinking about leaving and just homesteading. We have nigerian goats and chickens but turning it more into a lifestyle. I love your site as i feel like im learning so much. I want to make sure its the right decision but you really inspire me.

I was wanting to get a goat as a pet and was very interested in nigerian dwarf goats however i dont want to milk the goats every morning as i do not have time to do this, if i buy baby goats and do not breed them will the produce milk, is there any way i can stop them producing milk ?? Great article btw very helpful!!

This morning I got an email from one of my students asking why their baby goat died when it was one day old. Here are some of the reasons why that might happen -- and what you can do to prevent it -- as well as what you can't help.

Love Island in the same Nigeria where they banned Twitter and almost banned Big Brother and generators (this has nothing to do with anything, but you get the gist). I can already picture Lai Mohammed tying his gele of lies to give a press conference on how Love Island Nigeria is the reason behind increased crime rate, fuel scarcity and the depreciation of the naira.

Nigerians love their food far too much. If you dare throw a party without enough jollof rice or Malta Guinness, be prepared for a stampede. As some of you may have witnessed, it is our aunties that can fight for that last dish like no other!

First and foremost, learning French is the pleasure of learning a beautiful, rich, melodious language that is often called the language of love. French is also an analytical language that structures thought and develops critical thinking, which is a valuable skill for discussions and negotiations.

I just returned from climbing Nigeria\u2019s highest mountain. This was a big dream of mine for a few years and it is the most emotional climb I have ever embarked on. I must confess that it was very heavy to lift the Nigerian flag at the summit (for obvious reasons) but the love I have for the country is hard to shake off. Before you read the full story, check out this gorgeous candid photo, about 200 m from the summit. e24fc04721
