ZenTab Suite - A productive extension

ZenTab Suite is a browser extension that helps declutter your workspace, boost focus, and organize tabs for a calmer, more productive browsing experience.

Autopilot - Intelligent Tab Management

Automatically closes inactive tabs after a customizable duration (default: 30 minutes). Whitelist important domains to protect from closure. Monitor status, track last cleanup runs, and view upcoming checks.

ZenFocus - Distraction Blocker

Lock yourself into focus mode for a set duration with an allowed-domains whitelist. Inaccessible sites are blocked. Optional PIN protection for emergency exit. Live countdown timer shows remaining focus time.

Tab Groups - Organization

Create named collections to organize related tabs. Quickly add current tabs to groups. Manage groups from the popup or enhanced new tab page.

Prepare the extension folder (Windows)

1. Right‑click the .zip  You just downloaded → click Extract All….

You may need to select the folder and click a ... button and then click Extract All.

2. Open that folder and check that you see manifest.json inside with other files and folders.​

You will use this extracted folder, not the .zip, in the next steps.​

Chrome/Edge on Windows: load unpacked extension

1. Open Google Chrome.

2. In the address bar at the top, type chrome://extensions or edge://extensions and press Enter​.

3. At the top‑right of this page, turn on Developer mode (toggle should become colored/on).​

4. A new button called Load unpacked appears at the top. Click Load unpacked.​

5. A “Select the extension directory” window opens.

6. In that window, navigate to the extracted folder from earlier (the one that contains manifest.json)​

7. Single‑click the folder to select it, then click Select Folder​

ALL DONE!

It is recommended that once you have the extension that you click the puzzle piece in the top right of your browser and pin the extension for ease of use.
