What is an Elevator Pitch?
An Elevator Pitch is a 60 to 90 second persuasive speech about your innovation, invention, or research project; the intention is to convince a venture capitalist to invest in your project. The goal is to answer the following questions in a clear and concise manner:
Who are you?
What is your innovation, invention, or research project?
What is the importance of this project?
What evidence do you have to show that this project will be successful?
Examples:
Below are three examples from a similar competition from the University of Dayton. Remember you only need to show up with an idea; we'll help you form a pitch!
