Mission
La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to parents who want to breastfeed.
The La Leche League International Mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.

Lending Library (books on childbirth, breastfeeding, and related subjects), occasional enrichment meetings, and sale of books.

All breastfeeding / chestfeeding / human milk feeding mothers, parents, and pregnant folks interested in nursing are welcome to come to our meetings or call / email / message one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Online Meeting: meets the first Tuesday of each month @ 8:00 PM in our Online Meeting Facebook Group www.facebook.com/groups/LLLofRocOnline/
Ontario County: meets through Zoom, based in Phelps, on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM. Contact Maureen at 315-548-7980.
Rochester South: meets through Zoom, based in Henrietta, on the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00 AM. Contact Dorothy at LLLofRocSouth@gmail.com.

Membership
Membership
Membership in La Leche League is not required; however it provides many benefits for you and for families both locally and internationally. A $25 or $40 membership can be purchased through a local Group and this ensures that funds will be available in your vicinity to help families and babies. Contributions may be tax deductible as allowed by law. La Leche League is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
