at St. Luke UMC
St. Luke United Methodist Church in Sanford, North Carolina is the charter organization for three Scouts BSA programs.
Our scouting programs serve boys and girls from Kindergarten to age 17.

Pack 942
Boys & Girls
Pack 942 offers fun with a purpose for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade, or ages 5 to 10 years of age. Pack 942 is GAPS (Gifted and Physically disabled Scouts) Accessible.
Meetings are held most Mondays from 7-8 pm, at St. Luke UMC.
Troop 942B
Boys
Founded in 1937, Scout Troop 942B is an all boy troop. Troop 942B is the oldest continually operating boys Troop in Lee County.
Boys can join Troop 942B if they have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10 years old, OR have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old, OR are age 11 but have not reached age 18.
Troop 942B meetings are held most Tuesdays from 7-8:30 pm, at the Harriss Youth Hut at St. Luke UMC.
Troop 942G
Girls
Founded in 2019, Scout Troop 942G is an all girl Troop, and was among the first Scouts BSA girl Troops in the local area.
Girls can join Troop 942G if they have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10 years old, OR have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old, OR are age 11 but have not reached age 18.
Troop 942G meetings are held most Tuesdays from 7-8:30 pm, at the Harriss Youth Hut at St. Luke UMC.
