How to Find and Use iDVD Themes Folder

iDVD is a software application that allows you to create and burn DVD-Video discs on your Mac. It was discontinued by Apple in 2011, but you can still use it if you have an older version of iLife or macOS. One of the features of iDVD is that it includes over 100 Apple-designed themes for DVD menus and submenus, which you can customize with your own movies, photos, and music. In this article, we will show you how to find and use the iDVD themes folder on your Mac.

Where is the iDVD Themes Folder Located?

The iDVD themes folder is located in the following path: /Library/Application Support/iDVD/Themes/. This is the Library folder from the root of your drive, not your user Library. In this folder, you will find four subfolders: iDVD 3, iDVD 4, iDVD 5, and iDVD 6. These subfolders contain the themes for each version of iDVD. You can browse through them and see the preview images of each theme.
