These awards include 48 Implementation Grants focused on safety projects and strategies and 337 grants for planning and demonstration activities, shown in the map below. This is the second of two award announcements for FY 2023.

Each year, the American Society of Hematology (ASH) offers a variety of merit-based awards to support select trainees with high-achieving annual meeting abstracts who are chosen to present their work at the ASH annual meeting.

If after two or more years from your ECA activation date your organisation awards you a permanent, open ended or long-term rolling contract that includes your salary, you will be able to keep the salary element of the award to use towards your remaining research costs.

This category awards one winner and a shortlist of up to five. Submissions must be between 5 to 20 minutes in length and be narrative-led to convey an original fictional story or event. Dramatized factual subjects should be entered into this category rather than Non-Fiction.

In 1941 the Academy established awards to encourage creative work in the arts. Now $10,000 each, Arts and Letters Awards (formerly Academy Awards) are given annually: five to artists, eight to writers, four to composers, and four to architects. Composers receive an additional $10,000 toward the recording of a work.

This award consists of a framed certificate with inscription for the authors. These committee level awards will be distributed to the Technical Committee Chair or Technical Committee Awards Chair, or other designated representative, for presentation at a Technical Committee meeting.

This selection process is done by the individual Technical Committee and is a separate and distinct one from the Society-level IEEE PES Prize Paper Award nominations. Most committees choose to submit the same paper for Society-level awards as they selected for their Technical Committee Level Award.

Each Technical Committee of the Technical Council is encouraged to present a Technical Committee Award to one Working Group in recognition for outstanding performance in the development of a Standard, Guide or Recommended Practice. The document must have been published within the previous 3 years, and must be a new work or a significant revision of an existing document (consideration should be given to the significance and relevance of the work to the power and energy community). This award consists of a framed certificate to be presented to the Working Group Chair (and other officers, if any), and the Working Group members will receive a paper certificate. The committee level awards will be distributed to the Technical Committee Chair or Awards Chair, or other designated representative, for presentation at a Technical Committee meeting.

This selection process is done by the individual Technical Committee and is a separate and distinct one from the Society-Level IEEE PES Working Group Award nominations. Most committees choose to submit the same standard or guide for the Society-Level awards as they selected for their Technical Committee Level award.
