Merge documents, extract pages
The Merge feature allows you to combine different documents into one. The Extract feature on the other hand exports specific pages into separate XPS documents. These features are useful for creating new documents from existing ones, or splitting large documents into smaller ones. You can also reorder pages within a document by dragging and dropping them in the page list.
Edit, search and replace text
NiXPS Edit features a full set of text editing capabilities. Through the Inspector you can interactively edit selected text. The search and replace feature allows you to change specific text throughout the entire document. You can now find text in a split second with the Quick Search feature, instantly highlighting the text string you are looking for. NiXPS Edit also supports Unicode characters, allowing you to edit text in any language.
Move, delete objects
With the Select and Move tools you can now manipulate individual objects in an XPS file. You can drag them to a different location or precisely put them where you want through the Metrics panel in the Inspector. You can also delete unwanted objects by pressing the Delete key or using the Delete button in the toolbar. NiXPS Edit allows you to edit any type of object in an XPS file, such as images, paths, glyphs, or canvases.
Change Color
The new Inspector allows you to interactively select and inspect different objects in a document. You can change the color of any object by using the Color Picker tool or by entering a specific color value in the Inspector. You can also apply gradients or transparency effects to objects by using the Gradient Editor or the Opacity Slider in the Inspector. NiXPS Edit supports various color models, such as RGB, CMYK, or Lab.
Personalize documents with variable data
The new Personalize feature allows you to efficiently create targeted mail pieces or other personalized documents, providing an ideal solution for Variable Data Printing environments. You can define variables in your document by using placeholders such as name, address, or date. You can then import data from a CSV file or enter it manually in the Data Editor. NiXPS Edit will automatically replace the placeholders with the corresponding data values and generate personalized documents for each record in your data set. You can preview the results in the Preview panel or export them as separate XPS files.
Export to PDF
When needed you can also export your document to PDF to facilitate document exchange with environments less familiar with XPS. NiXPS Edit supports various PDF settings, such as compression, encryption, fonts embedding, or color profiles. You can also choose to export only selected pages or the entire document. NiXPS Edit ensures a high-quality conversion from XPS to PDF, preserving the layout, fonts, colors, and graphics of your original document.
