Beginner surfing courses are ideal for everyone, including non-swimmers who wish to learn to surf! This is an excellent choice for first-time surfers and beginners looking to practice their first waves. First, you will learn the fundamentals of surfing, and we will assist you with standing up on the first. Second, if you already have some surfing expertise, we will help you improve your skills on modest blue waves.

In your first class, you will learn all of the fundamentals of surfing, beginning with zero. {No experience needed}.

What You'll Learn:

• Safety and ocean knowledge

• Surfing etiquette

• Positioning on the board

• How to paddle & learn how to surf on your self

• How to stand up properly and how to ride a wave 

For more experienced students, as always, we review and refine some fundamental areas that demand attention, as well as direct and assist the development of the necessary techniques to advance to the next level. Surfers at this level require very variable attention and specificity; it varies greatly according on each individual, their prior experience with the activity, and their aspirations for success.

What You'll Learn:

• Passing the breaking waves and getting to the line-up

• Positioning on the line-up

• Proper technique to turtle turn or duck dive (depending on your skills)

• Paddling technique

• Timing (when to start paddling for a wave and when to stand up)

• Positioning on the board (and proper stands for creating speed)

• Turning (how to ride the wave sideways)

• Trimming and Carving turns

• Surfing etiquette
