Rufus 3.0.1304 released

Rufus is a popular and free software that helps users format and create bootable USB flash drives, such as USB keys, pendrives, memory sticks, etc. Rufus can be used to create USB installation media from bootable ISOs (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.), to work on a system that doesn't have an OS installed, to flash a BIOS or other firmware from DOS, or to run a low-level utility. Rufus is fast, portable, and easy to use.

On May 29, 2018, the developer of Rufus, Pete Batard, released Rufus 3.0.1304, which is the latest stable version of the software as of July 2021. This version introduced a major UI redesign to follow the flow of user operations, with thanks to Fahad Al-Riyami for the concept. The new UI has a simpler and more intuitive layout, with fewer options and buttons, and a clearer indication of the progress and status of the operation.
