Ygor Bedmitz writes:
It seems to me that I had been a character in some short stories written by Peter Sharrock (who had shown these to his friends who - along with Peter - were training to be psychiatric nurses at Hellingly Hospital in 1985).
One of Peter's friend (Tim) had then turned me into a drawing. Then another one of his friends (Debbie) had turned that drawing into a grey velvet hooded and much-photographed doll.
A few years later, an Occupational Therapist called Maureen used that doll to create a series of illustrations featuring me with my dead cat, Bounce.
My family-name ends with a Z because, in those days, Peter had been a member of an infamous cohort of trainee nurses known as Z Group. The names of my other two designers, Deb and Tim, were then combined and written backwards to form the rest of my surname, Bedmitz.
In recent years, Peter has come to believe that I am the reincarnation of an imaginary friend he had jettisoned in the early 1970s.
Since the 1980s, Ygor Bedmitz unlicensed Legal Services (YBuLS) had been acting as Peter’s imaginary lawyers [in these so-called works of conceptual outsider art] until Peter had suddenly sent me back to live with my mother in June 2023.

Some might say that, whilst not a robot himself, Ygor's not above installing the odd cyborg to conclude yet another one of those dodgy business investments whilst he's currently out of the office.
