777QRG Privacy Policy

Summary
777QRG works without an account and keeps your information on your iPad. The only exception is anything you deliberately share with other pilots through the optional community features.
Information Collection
The App does not require account registration, login or personal details, and does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking.
Everything you enter (flight data, notes, aerodrome information, logbook, secure notes, NOTAM summaries and photos) is stored only on your device and is included in your normal device backups.
Community Sharing (optional)
If you choose to share a runway layout or aerodrome information with other pilots, the App uploads it to Apple's iCloud (the CloudKit public database for this App). There it is visible to other users of the App. The upload contains:
the runway layout, or the aerodrome information you chose to share;
a nickname you choose;
an anonymous, app-specific identifier, so your uploads can be replaced or removed by you and blocked together by other users.
Your name, email address and Apple ID are not shared with the developer or other users. Layover hotel details, station contacts and photos are never uploaded.
The App also stores download counts and any reports that users make about shared content, so that inappropriate content can be reviewed and removed.
You can remove your uploads at any time in the App with "Remove My Upload", or ask for removal by emailing shadyoak79@yahoo.com. Browsing and downloading shared content does not upload anything about you.
Location, Camera and Face ID
Location is used only when you ask the App to show your position on the NOTAM map. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.
Camera images (for example, scanning a flight plan) are processed on your device and are not uploaded.
Face ID or your passcode is used only to open Secure Notes, through Apple's own system. The App never sees your biometric data.
Online Services
To provide certain features, the App makes anonymous requests that do not include personal data:
aviationweather.gov (NOAA), for METARs and TAFs for the aerodromes you enter;
open.er-api.com (ExchangeRate-API), for daily currency exchange rates;
Apple's App Store, to check whether a newer version is available;
Apple iCloud, only for the optional community sharing described above.
Links that open in Safari (such as FlightAware) are covered by those websites' own privacy policies.
Information Usage
All content is provided solely for informational and educational purposes. The App is not intended for operational or flight planning use, and pilots must rely on official sources and company documentation.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for professional pilots and does not knowingly collect any data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be shown on this page with a new effective date.
