Course Objectives & Assessments

General Info:

Each Quarter will have both formative and summative assessments.

Formative grades are worth 20% of a student's final grade and are smaller assignments (reviews, homework, worksheets, etc.).
Summative grades are final projects (tests, presentations, etc.) and are worth 80% of a student's final grade.

All assignments and final projects will be posted in Google Classroom. Grades will be posted and updated through Synergy.

Below are the units we plan to cover during each Quarter, but note that these plans are subject to change based on student need/interest, and timing. We are also adjusting our curriculum to align with the newest edition of our textbook, Northern Lights, which will impact our pacing and units.
