PRIVACY POLICY

1. Introduction

Offline Music Player (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a local music player for iPhone and iPad. The App is designed so that your music library stays on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, where that information is stored, and how you can control it.

We do not operate an online music catalog. We do not stream music from a server. We do not require an account. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

2. Summary

• No account is required to use the App.

• We do not collect personal identifiers such as name, email address, phone number, or Apple ID inside the App.

• We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

• Offline Music Pro is sold as Apple In-App Purchases (weekly subscription, yearly subscription, and a one-time Lifetime purchase). Apple processes payment. We do not receive payment card details.

• The App does not include AdMob or any other advertising SDK.

• We do not request App Tracking Transparency permission.

• Imported audio, artwork, playlists, playback history, and settings remain on your device.

• Media you import is not uploaded to our servers.

• An internet connection is not required to play imported music.

3. Information the App Does Not Collect

The App does not collect, transmit, or store on our servers:

• Name, email address, postal address, or phone number

• Account credentials or login information

• Apple ID, Game Center identity, or social-network identity

• Precise or approximate location

• Contacts, calendar events, or messages

• Advertising identifiers (IDFA) or usage analytics

• Crash telemetry sent to a third-party analytics service

• Payment card details (purchases are processed by Apple In-App Purchase)

• Health, fitness, or sensitive personal data

If you contact us by email, we receive only the information you choose to include in that message. We use that correspondence solely to respond to your request.

4. Information Stored on Your Device

The following information is created and stored locally on your iPhone or iPad so the App can function:

a. Music library

Audio files you import are copied into the App’s private container (Application Support). The App stores a local library index, including title, artist, album, duration, folder, playlist membership, favorites, and related metadata.

b. Artwork

Cover art extracted from imported files, or generated locally when artwork is missing, is stored on the device.

c. Playlists and organization

Playlists, favorites, folders, display names, and sort preferences are stored locally.

d. Playback state

The App may remember the last queue, track, playback position, shuffle setting, and repeat mode so you can resume listening on the next launch. Playback remains paused until you press Play, unless you choose otherwise in Settings.

e. Settings

Appearance (System / Light / Dark), duplicate-handling preference, filename display preference, and similar options are stored in standard on-device preferences (UserDefaults).

f. Purchase entitlement

After a verified StoreKit purchase or restore, the App may store a local record of which Offline Music Pro product is unlocked so the App can remain unlocked on this device. That record is not uploaded to our servers.

g. Temporary files

During import or audio extraction, the App may create temporary files. These files remain on the device and can be reviewed in Settings under Storage.

We do not have remote access to this on-device information.

5. How You Add Music

You add content only through explicit actions you initiate:

a. Import from Files

When you choose Import from Files, iOS presents the system document picker. The App accesses only the files you select. Supported formats include MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, AIFF, CAF, and FLAC when the system can play them. Files you select are copied into the App’s local library.

b. Import from Photos

When you choose Import from Photos, iOS presents the system Photos picker. You select specific videos. The App extracts audio on the device (typically as M4A) and stores that audio in the local library. The App does not request broad, always-on access to your entire photo library.

c. iCloud Drive files

If a selected file lives in iCloud Drive and is not available on the device, import may fail until the file is downloaded locally by iOS. The App does not upload that file to our servers.

You are responsible for selecting files you are legally entitled to use. See the Terms of Use.

6. Permissions and System Features

The App uses Apple system interfaces only for product functionality:

• Files / document picker: to import audio you choose.

• Photos picker: to select videos whose audio you want to extract.

• Background audio: to continue playback when the screen is locked and to support Lock Screen, Control Center, and compatible audio routes such as AirPlay.

• Now Playing / media commands: to display track information and respond to play, pause, skip, and related system controls.

The App does not request tracking permission. The App does not use the microphone for recording. The App does not use the camera. The App does not access contacts.

7. Network Use

Playing your imported library does not require an internet connection.

A network connection may be used only in limited situations, for example:

• Loading In-App Purchase products, completing a purchase, or restoring purchases through Apple

• Opening this Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, or a support page in Safari

• Opening an App Store product page if you choose to rate the App

• Importing a file that iOS must first download from iCloud Drive to the device

The App does not send your music library, playlists, or listening history to our servers. There is no cloud sync of your library.

8. Sharing and Export

If you use the system Share sheet to send a track elsewhere, iOS handles that share according to the destination you choose (for example Mail, Files, or another app). We do not receive a copy of that share. Once you export a file out of the App, that copy is governed by the destination you selected.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Because library data is stored on your device:

• Deleting a track, playlist, or folder from inside the App removes the corresponding local data.

• Clearing the library from Settings permanently deletes imported audio, playlists, and artwork stored by the App on that device.

• Clearing artwork cache removes locally stored cover images; the App may regenerate artwork later if needed.

• Uninstalling the App removes the App’s container, including imported audio stored inside the App, unless you previously exported copies elsewhere.

We cannot remotely restore a library you delete from your device.

10. Children

The App is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not create accounts or collect personal data on our servers, we do not maintain a children’s profile database.

Parents and guardians should supervise how a child imports media and should only import content the family is entitled to use.

11. Third Parties

The App does not embed advertising networks, analytics vendors, social SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs.

Apple provides the App Store, iOS, Photos, Files, AirPlay, StoreKit In-App Purchase, and related system services under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not control Apple’s processing of information associated with your Apple ID, device, payments, or App Store account.

If you email us, your message is transmitted through your email provider and ours.

12. Security

Imported media and library data remain in the App’s sandboxed container on your device, protected by iOS file protection and device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID according to your device settings. We do not operate a remote music database that could be breached on our side.

You should keep iOS updated, use a device passcode, and avoid sharing an unlocked device if your library contains personal recordings.

13. International Users

The App stores information locally on the device you use. We do not transfer your music library to our servers in any country. If you contact us by email, that correspondence may be processed where our support mailbox is accessed.

14. Your Choices

You can:

• Decline to import any file

• Delete individual tracks, playlists, or folders

• Clear the entire library

• Clear artwork cache

• Disable resume playback in Settings

• Restore Purchases from the paywall

• Manage or cancel an auto-renewing subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

• Uninstall the App at any time

Because we do not maintain a user account or a remote profile, there is no online dashboard from which we can export or erase data we do not hold.

15. Apple App Privacy Nutrition Label

Our intended App Store privacy answers reflect that we do not collect data for tracking and do not collect data linked to your identity on our servers. Purchases are processed by Apple. If Apple’s label format changes, we will update the listing to remain accurate.

16. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, except where applicable law requires additional notice.
