The 47th Daytime Emmy Awards were adjourned to June 26, 2020, due to the COVID-19 Virus pandemic. CBS and its sister network Paramount+ will broadcast the event and it’s the 15th time CBS has broadcast the Daytime Emmy Awards and which is the highest than any other TV Network. This year, NATAS has received more than 3,000 bendings for the 48th Daytime Emmy discretion, via content that originally premiered in the calendar year 2020. A pool of more than 1,000 peer professionals from across the TV industry judged the submission.
The 48th annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be hosted by Sheryl Underwood, NATAS said today. It will stamp The Talk co-host’s 5th time hosting the trophy award show. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, NATAS on Tuesday published nominees for the 48th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which will be forsaken June 25 in primetime on CBS and Paramount Plus channels.
More than 40 categories will be given out during the broadcast and on social media after Natas divided its annual awards for the best in television. The Daytime Children’s Programming and Animation Emmy Awards will be presented in a stand-alone streaming show on July 17, and the Daytime Lifestyle Programming Emmy Awards follow the next day. Those nominees will come on June 28.
