Located in Putnam County, FL, the Georgetown-Fruitland Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1968. Since then, we have been an integral part of the community by providing vital services to the residents living in the southern end of Putnam County, FL.
Beginning in 2020, Putnam County made the decision to add full-time paid fire and rescue personnel to our fire station. Together, the volunteers and full-time paid personnel work to serve the members of our community.
We host events throughout the year to reinforce community connections and to raise funds for the department. We look forward to seeing you at an event soon!
