This project aims to explore how honeypots work and their applications for developing a secure system. We want to look at securing and hardening a system relevant to computer networks.
We have designed an architecture based on a shared virtual machine. This machine is configured with a peer-to-peer connection using Tailscale, allowing all users to access it via SSH. Within this environment, we are running a honeypot where our attacks will take place.
Through this project, we aim to gain insights into the importance of security development and system hardening, highlighting the critical role these measures play in protecting infrastructure.
