Volunteer Positions
Club Leader: Mentor children in the subject area of their choice. Arrange for club meetings and recruit project leaders to work with youth in desired project areas. Maintain connection with the Extension office and share information with club members. Relate project experiences to everyday life skills.
Assistant Club Leader: Maintain connection with the Extension office and share information with club members, Recruit assistance as needed with transportation, refreshments, etc.
Secretary/Treasurer: Maintain class enrollment list with children's names and parent's name's with contact information. See that each youth and adult volunteer complete the annual enrollment and health history forms. Work with 4-H member who has the secretary/treasurer responsibility.
Service Coordinator: Coordinate a service day once a month with the Utah House. We will stay in class for an additional 30 minutes once a month to provide service as payment for using the Utah House classroom.
Music Assistant: Help identify patriotic, folk, and fun songs to learn during the year. Help 4-H members teach fun songs to their club. Help teach songs that require advanced music ability.
Activity assistant: Identify and assist with hands-on learning projects connected with the monthly theme.
Resource Leaders: Help identify prepared lesson plans, stories, and music that are consistent with the monthly theme.
Project Leader or Special Skill Instructor: Assist members with project work, materials, and presentations. Liaison with the 4-H club leader in carrying out the club's overall plans.
