The risk of not buying tickets ahead of time is that there may be very few if any reservations remaining for that day when you arrive at the gate. You can often save around 20% on multi-day tickets just by buying online, and even single-day admission occasionally has discounts when purchased ahead of time.

Also, as we mentioned, the ticket rules typically prohibit the transfer of ownership of your partially used tickets to another person or to a third-party vendor; if you do so, the person who ends up buying the remainder of your admission may not be able to use it.

Dated tickets 1-4 days can be cancelled and refunded up to 3 days before your chosen date (including the day of arrival, for example, if you have a ticket for 4 June, you have until midnight on 1 June to cancel).
