Minnie Riperton - The Best of Minnie Riperton (1993)

Minnie Riperton was an American singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the 1970s with her distinctive five-octave vocal range and her ability to sing in the whistle register. She is best known for her hit single "Lovin' You", which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1975 and became one of the first songs to feature a woman singing in the highest register of the human voice.

The Best of Minnie Riperton is a compilation album that was released by Capitol Records in 1993, eight years after Riperton's death from breast cancer at the age of 31.
