Upon realizing the strength of the Nogitsune and the fact that she was running out of tails to sacrifice, Kira’s mother called an old friend back in Japan, requesting that he send aid to help her daughter and her friends. Hearing of what his old friend was facing, the ancient Kitsune, who runs a dojo that trains their kind in how to wield their powers sent his top student to Beacon Hills. The male who had sworn three hundred years ago upon his daughter’s grave that one day he would become the greatest swordsman in the world.

In Japan, he’s come to be known as a guardian. Those of the supernatural community seeking aid or rescue can find him at the shrines of Inari. His talent with his three-sword style is known even to the hunters in the country and abroad. Those who have tried to slay him, both hunter and enemy alike, know him by code name, The Fox Demon.

His true name though is Roronoa Zoro, a three-tailed kitsune.

Arriving in Beacon Hills, Zoro, with the help of Kira’s family, is enrolled in the school since he still looks young enough to pass as a teenager. Quickly aligning himself with Scott and his pack, he begins helping Kira train in the art of the sword and her powers while aiding the pack in fighting the Nogitsune.

After the Nogitsune’s defeat, Zoro decides to stay and officially joins Scott’s pack. Having found friendship for the first time since losing Kuina three hundred years ago and and an alpha whom he is willing to follow.
