A THOUSAND MILES OF PEACH BLOSSOMS.
Not much is known about his younger years. Born to a branch of the heavenly foxes of Qing Qiu, Zoro's parents perished before he was able to take a mortal form. Orphaned, he was sent to live with his Uncle and cousin Kuina, the last remaining members of his line. A family lineage almost as well known as the Fox Kings due to the unique and ancient martial art form that they practiced, the Three-Blade Style. It was there, nestled in a secluded part of Qing Qiu, that he began his training with his cousin under his Uncle's tutelage. Overly dedicated due to the loss he'd already suffered and severely competitive it became clear that both he and his cousin were naturals when it came to the art of the blade and cultivation.
Around his 20,000th year, an ancient demon broke through the barriers protecting Qing Qiu. Slaughtering it's way through the remote areas before word could reach the Fox God. The bloody path came to an end at his home, where the sight of witnessing his last remaining family members brutally murdered occurred moments before Mo Yuan appeared to slay the beast. The sight and crushing grief, coupled with his already potent cultivation, was revealed to be the trial that ascended him from immortality to godhood. The unprecedentedly young ascension, though not entirely unheard of, left him severely wounded with a scar upon his chest that would never fully heal.
Upon witnessing his ascension and knowing of the martial art path that he followed, Mo Yuan took the young god back as his disciple. The third to last that he would take before his death several centuries later, and yet the youngest amongst them all. Treated by Zhe Yan, it took about 10,000 years for him to heal. The brutal injuries he'd sustained during the battle and then crippling grief added with the forced ascension taking his mind and spirit time to adjust to. Due to this and his already secluded upbringing, he didn't recognize that the last disciple to join Kulan mere days after he'd been taken in himself was the princess of his home, Bai Qian, in disguise.
During the war that would eventually lead to Mo Yuan's death and the disappearance of his junior brother Si Yin he became well known throughout the realms. Distinguishing himself in battle and easily recognized due to the green coloring of his fox form. However, he declined all offers that came his way after the war, instead choosing to become a wandering swordsman. Leanding his aid where it was needed as he continued to hone his skills and hunt down demons that threatened the peace of the worlds in his master's stead.
Rumors grew around the mysterious disciple of Mo Yuan as the centuries passed. Many coming to call him the Demon Hunter since stories often appeared of a green fox slaying monsters wherever they appeared. Until he was as well known as Si Yin and Die Feng.
