Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the viewer inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, viewers are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds.
Astrid Creative Endeavors's 360 Video training focuses on the pre-production / production / post-production of 360 Videos for DESKTOP VR and IMMERSIVE VR platforms. True IMMERSIVE VR, AUGMENTED REALITY, VIDEO MAPPING VR, DISTRIBUTED VR and TELEPRESENCE require extensive knowledge of animation, programming, engineering and robotics.
VR thoroughly immerses viewers into the environment and allows them to explore whatever and however they want to. Unlike in 360- video, a VR story is not set in stone. It doesn’t follow any pre-determined timeline. Rather, viewers are able to create their own experiences in the VR simulation.
