360Synk is a workforce and job management app used by field-service companies to run their business. Your account is normally created by your employer, and the information you record in the app is shared with your company as part of your work.
Data we collect
Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and job role
Work records you create: jobs, certificates, test results, timesheets, leave requests, expenses and receipts, notes, and forms
Client and site information entered by your company (names, addresses, contact details)
Photos and documents captured or uploaded in the app
Location data, if your employer has location tracking enabled (see below)
Device and app information for reliability: crash reports and basic device details (via Google Firebase Crashlytics), and a notification token so we can send push notifications
Location data
If your employer has location tracking enabled, the app collects your device's precise location — including in the background, while the app is not open — and sends it to 360Synk's servers, along with related device information such as battery level and whether the device is moving.
When: only during your company's working hours, or while you have an active job timer running. Never on evenings, weekends, or approved leave. Collection stops when you log out. A notification is always visible on your device while location is collected, and the app shows you a clear notice before any location is collected.
Why: so your company's office team can see engineers' positions on a team map, send the nearest engineer to a job, and plan efficient driving routes.
Retention: location history is deleted automatically after 90 days.
Camera, photos and microphone
The app uses your camera to photograph installations, test results, defects, receipts, and documents. The microphone is used only if you choose to record a voice note, which is converted to text using your device's speech recognition. We do not access your camera roll or microphone in the background.
Storage and security
360Synk works offline-first: data is stored on your device and synced to Microsoft Azure cloud services hosted in Europe (North Europe region). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Maps are displayed using Google Maps.
Who can see your data
Your work records and location are visible to authorised people at your own company (such as owners, admins, and managers), according to the roles your company sets. We never sell your data, and we never share it with other companies except the service providers named above (Microsoft Azure hosting, Google Firebase notifications and crash reporting, Google Maps display), who process it on our behalf.
Your rights
You can access the information held about you, ask for corrections, and request a copy or deletion — speak to your employer (who controls your work account) or contact us directly. Location history deletes itself after 90 days regardless.
Children's privacy
360Synk is a professional business application and is not designed for or directed at children under 13.
