Losing Weight for the Short Term

Everyone knows that sustainable weight loss is only achieved by adjusting the lifestyle. Healthier and regular eating, combined with sufficient physical activity are the key to losing weight. There may, however, be reasons to quickly lose a lot of weight with only a temporary effect. This can be achieved by losing much of the fluid retained by the body. A wedding where you have to fit in your dress, a day at the beach or a photo shoot, they can all be reasons for quickly losing some extra pounds. A well-known example is that of the avid sportsman who has to drift moisture to look tighter like the bodybuilder or the martial artist who has to lose kilos quickly to stay in a certain weight class. This goal can be achieved by short-term use of a diuretic supplement such as NOW Water Out. This is often much more effective than a crash diet in which food intake is drastically reduced and the energy level also decreases enormously.

Ingredients Now Water Out

A number of natural ingredients can help to quickly drift away moisture with weight loss as a result. NOW Water Out contains the following active ingredients:

Vitamin B6 (from Pyridoxine HCl)

Potassium chloride

Bearberry ( Arctostaphylos uva ursi )

Dandelion ( Taraxacum officinale )

Common juniper ( Juniperus communis )

Buchu ( Agathosma )

Bladder Wrack (Fucus vesiculosus)

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 helps to break down starch and sugar and drift away moisture. NOW Water Out contains a high (yet safe) dose of vitamin B6.

Potassium Chloride

Potassium chloride is also known to work diuretic. It is also used, for example, by women who hold too much fluid around the abdomen, upper legs and ankles as a result of premenstrual syndrome. The addition of potassium also eliminates the danger of a potassium deficiency. This is a more common problem in people who use water pills (diuretics) for medical reasons.

Bearberry

Bearberry or uva ursi ensures a good flow of urine and is therefore also used against a burning sensation when urinating in a urinary tract problem.

Dandelion

Dandelion has been used as a medicinal plant for centuries. It is the leaves that are attributed to a diuretic effect. This effect has also been scientifically proven. For example, US research from 2009 showed that subjects who used a dandelion supplement measured significantly more urine over a 24-hour period than subjects who had not taken the supplement, despite equal fluid intake. This led to weight loss .

Juniper

The juniper is also used for centuries as a diuretic. The effect of this has only been demonstrated in animals and not in humans.

Buchu

Buchu comes from the Agathosma plant, which mainly exists in Africa and is also a diuretic. It is also often used as a remedy against cystitis. Tea is also often made from buchu.

Bladder wrack

Bladderwrack is a brown algae species known for its ability to lower cholesterol and normalize menstruation. Bladderwrack also works, however, also mildly diuretic. It is therefore also used in naturopathy against lymphedema. Because of the alleged appetite-suppressing effect, it is regularly used as part of a diet.
