How do I create and join a game? On the home screen, tap "Create Room" to host a game. You'll get a unique 6-digit room code. Share this code with friends—they can join instantly by entering it. No account needed, just pick a screen name.
Do I need an account to play? No. Just enter a screen name and start playing. All features are free and available immediately.
How many players can play? Games support 4 to 6 players. If you don't have enough friends, invite AI players to fill empty seats.
What's the goal of the game? Reach the score goal (default 500 points, customizable) before other teams. Players bid on tricks they think they can win, call trump, and work with secret partners to hit their contract.
Who are my partners? In 4-player games, you have 1 secret partner. In 5 or 6-player games, you have 2. Nobody knows who they are until that card hits the table—that's the bluff!
How do I win tricks? Play the highest card of the led suit, or a trump card. Higher trump always beats lower trump. The player who wins the trick leads the next one.
What happens if we don't make our bid? If the bidding team scores fewer points than they bid, they lose points. If they hit their contract, they gain points. The race continues until someone crosses the finish line.
The app keeps disconnecting. What do I do? Check your internet connection. If you disconnect mid-game, rejoin using the same room code—you'll pick up where you left off.
Can I play offline? No, 3 of Spades requires an internet connection for multiplayer games.
The app is crashing. How do I fix it? Try restarting the app. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall from the App Store or Google Play.
Can I play on multiple devices? Yes, but one account per device. Each device gets its own screen name and can join different games.
How do I turn off sound? Go to Settings within the game and toggle "Sound Effects" or "Music" on or off.
Can I customize the score goal? Yes, but only the host can set it before the game starts. The host can choose from preset goals or set a custom target.
What's in-game chat for? Use pre-selected emojis and messages to chat with other players during the game. Celebrate wins, encourage your partners, or trash talk!
How do I view my stats? After each round, check the scoreboard and game history to see points, rankings, and results.

Trump: The winning bidder calls trump before play begins.
Secret Partners: Name one (4-player) or two (5-6 player) partner(s). Reveal when that card is played.
Scoring: Points based on tricks won vs. bid amount. First to the goal wins.
