29th Annual BC/Yukon Regional Conference
DEEPENING YOUR COUNSELLING COMPETENCY
Theory. Practice. Process.
A Brief Exploration of Somatic Experiencing
Keynote Speaker: Katharine Ingham MA, RCC, SEP
Somatic Experiencing incorporates the activation of the body’s incomplete self protective responses, which were suppressed during trauma.
To help people heal, this therapy is designed to complete these responses, assist the client in processing their suppressed experiences, and bring this knowledge into conscious awareness for exploration and somatic and/or emotional release.
Join us to hear Katharine’s fascinating discussion on Somatic Experiencing (SE).
