Music:
The iPhone 6 has seen better days and may occasionally shut off once every few months. If this has happened follow these steps to get it back up and running:
Unlock the iphone using the passcode ‘2424’
Open spotify and select 24fit Mount Barker’s playlist
Ensure the loop button has been clicked. “No Loop No Party” has been printed and put on the stereo so it cannot be forgotten. WIthout this selected, the playlist will eventually finish and the music will stop. This leaves the gym to be very quiet and awkward.
Overdue Fees:
Identify members with overdue fees by navigating to Users > Membership Status > Overdue.
On Thursday PM (after failed payment in the morning), send the “Overdue Payment” template to affected members.
During the Saturday shift, if payment fails again, call members and leave notes in their profiles.
Over the next few weeks, make calls and send emails every few days. If there's no response and fees remain unpaid, cancel their membership and write off the payment in the payments tab.
Cleaning Supplies:
All cleaning materials including toilet paper, soaps, king hit, rolls, etc. can be found in the storage room. However, if you have found that the gym is running low of something, call up EP Cleaning Supplies and inform them of what we need and they will usually arrive on the same day of the call.
However, if it is the WOW wipes that are needed, email Alex and he will get some sent over.

If you feel you have nothing to do:
Sometimes the tasks on the laptop can all be complete and you feel you have nothing to do, however if you search around the gym always need plenty of love! Here are some ideas for if you feel the shift is dragging on:
Clean, clean and clean!: You can never go wrong with a perfectly clean gym, so free time in a shift is the perfect opportunity to leave the gym looking spotless. Fill a bucket up with hot water along with some king hit to get you prepared. Then go from machine to machine and give it the best clean it’s ever had in it’s life. Dust and other random bits of filth is our worst enemy here and will add up in just a matter of days. By regularly getting to the spots that aren’t cleaned on a shift-to-shift basis, we can ensure that every spot in this gym in its best condition for our members to use.
Here are some spaces that can also use some love when your task list is complete:
Under and around all of the dumbbell racks.
Exterior Glass
On top of cupboards and shelves
Behind Functional Training rack
Behind and on top of the cable machines
The drawers at the desk
And plenty more
Set Goals: By taking advantage of goal setting, you can ensure that every time you finish your shift you have left the gym with an improvement. Examples of goals could include contacting freeze members who have been on freeze for a while, getting a certain amount of sign ups in your shift, or even selling one of our merchandise options. By setting these goals, you are also giving yourself extra things to do throughout the shift and making sure you are utilising your time at the desk.
