Process for First-Class Conversion:
Goals: Make them feel welcome, confident, and excited to return.
Before Class:
Encourage them to arrive 5-10 minutes early.
Staff check gymflow prior to class to know how many new members.
Staff greets them, collects basic info (experience, injuries, goals).
Staff provide a mini-tour and session overview.
During Class:
Introduce them to the group; assign a buddy if possible.
Ensure modifications are provided so they can participate safely.
Provide visual cues and spend a little bit extra in class demo.
Coach actively checks on them, offers encouragement, and praises effort.
After Class:
Staff or coach follows up with a personal touch:
Quick verbal check-in: “How did you find it?”
Message group chat to update the rest of the staff members on new member. Managers to add summary to Gymflow profile.
During check-in calls, mention classes and touch base.
We love celebrating our member wins so we want to recognise our Xpress members when they hit class attendance milestones.
For each of the milestones - grab a photo of the member with their milestone poster and other class attendees.
These can be posted on socials to recognise the member. Feel free to take images of members that achieve 300, 400, 600-900 etc. just not gifts.
We are currently in the process of organising customised merchandise for specific milestones.
Please ensure these are the member gifts moving forward so that celebrations are standardised. Please note down gifts provided in the members profile.
