Always make sure that there are two copies of the incident report form printed and placed in the first aid kit at all times.
Immediately assess the situation to determine if 000 or first aid is required. If in doubt, call an ambulance.
Prioritise member care – reassure them, stay with them, and maintain calm communication.
Remove any immediate hazards to prevent further harm to the injured member or others.
Provide first aid only within your certified competency.
Complete an Incident Report Form as soon as practicable, including clear, factual details.
Submit the incident report to Cody & Alex.
Record notes on members GymFlow profile & upload a copy of the incident report.
Follow up with the member within 24 hours to check on their condition and continue to show care.
Management will review the incident, assess contributing factors, and take any reasonable steps to mitigate future risk.
Each quarter, it is essential to test the duress pendants, police, and ambulance emergency buttons to ensure they are working correctly. This is a crucial safety procedure. The tests should be performed on the first Monday of January, April, July, and October.

Contact SA Security Monitoring:
Call 08 8234 8899.
Inform them that you are calling from 24fit and specify the location you are testing. They may ask to verify who you are - please provide the code: 2424.
Advise that you wish to test the duress pendants, police, and ambulance emergency buttons.
Follow their instructions as they guide you through the testing process.
Report Issues:
If any issues are encountered during the test, immediately report them to AW via email.
