We voice our grave concern about the alarming situation for LGBTQIA+ people and the future of democracy in Poland, a country with an admirable history of resistance to totalitarianism and a struggle for freedom. We see Poland as part of Europe and wish European values to thrive in this country. We speak out in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ people, their allies and activists, who are standing up to the unfair treatment, intimidation and attacks on diversity and individual rights.
