FIVE SIMPLE STEPS

STEP #1 - If you do not have your own Return-It account, click on this link: app.return-it.ca/21stcapilanoscoutgroup to set up an account. Then when your are in your account, click on the link: "Set Automatic Donation" and type in "21st" and select our "21st Capilano Group". You can always change your donation group at a later time.

STEP #2 - Put your bottles & containers into a clear bag up to 90-litre capacity and tie the top (no sorting needed);

STEP #3 - Go to an express facility (click on "Press Here to Get Started" on your Return-It App to locate the express facilities);

STEP #4- at the facility, enter the phone number you used to set up your account, then select the number of labels you would like, and then press PRINT (you can print extra labels for your next trip). At facilities with a locked bag drop door, just follow the instructions on your app to unlock the door.

STEP #5 - stick a label your bag(s) - each bag needs a label and toss your bag(s) through any Express bag drop slot. Note that a few facilities have a "self bag scanner" and your bags need to be scanned before you toss them into the slot.

Use Multiple Bags

Heavy bags can break open and are difficult to handle. Return-It recommends mixing in no more than 12 glass bottles along with your other containers in each Express bag.

YOU CAN LEAVE caps on

When returning your beverage containers, leave the caps on to ensure the small plastic pieces are recycled.

Beverage containers with or without caps are accepted at the depot, but whenever you can, leave the caps on or put them in your Express bag to ensure the small plastic pieces are recycled.
