Beavers AREA

Hi Beaver Scouts. 

You belong to the 21st Capilano Beaver Scout Colony.  Your meetings are lots of fun for everyone.  You play games, make crafts, go on hikes, earn badges, tour interesting places, sing songs around a campfire in the dark, tell jokes, have "show & tell", listen to stories, build forts made out of cardboard, sleep over at Science World, go to outdoor camps, and much much more.

Check out the badges you can earn on the PROGRAMS - DOCUMENTS page.  You can also earn the Top Section Award in your section (North Star Award - check with your section Scouters for details on this award).

Remember to wear your uniform and bring your coat to each meeting as we might go outside for part or all of the meeting.  At the start of each meeting, we feed the beaver "Chips".  Chips are some coins brought to each meeting (typically up to a Loonie) which helps pay for the meeting supplies and activity costs.

If you are a White Tail Beaver Scout (grade 2), you will sometimes get to do special things at meetings and help plan fun activities for the rest of the Beaver Scouts and go on some special outings.
