World Scouting

Over 100 years ago, Lord Baden-Powell started Scouting in England with just 20 members, Now over half a billion young people from virtually every country and culture throughout the world have pledged to live by his values: Be kind... Do your best... Leave each place a little better than you found it. These people are helping to create a better world.

Scouts have a lot of fun discovering new things and experiences they wouldn't have elsewhere. Along the way they develop into capable, confident and well-rounded individuals, better prepared for success in the world.

Scouting offers a world where you can discover the best in yourself and the best in others. Dollar for dollar, our programs provide significant value. They run all year round and offer diverse learning experiences and adventures that youth will remember for a lifetime!

21st Capilano Scout Group

We are part of the World Scouting Organization within the Pacific Coast Council of Scouts Canada. Our group is the 21st Capilano Scouting Group which holds its meetings in the upper Capilano area of North Vancouver, BC. Our membership includes youth and adults from many locations on the North Shore.

We follow the Scouts Canada and World Scout Organization values and have built up a knowledgeable team of adult Scouters (Leaders) to deliver our programs.

Section Meetings & Special Events
