2026 Parks & Recreation Summer Employment Information
***Please read all of the below information*** To be considered for a paid summer camp counselor position in 2026, you must be 16 years old by June 22, 2026 and complete and submit an employment application by March 6, 2026. See the "Steps to apply to be a paid summer camp counselor" below. Note: If you are old enough to apply for a paid counselor position but would prefer to earn community service hours as a volunteer, please contact Rich Corbin at RCorbin@moorestown.nj.us. He will get you registered as a volunteer counselor. ---------------------------- Steps to apply to be a paid summer camp counselor: 1) Review the responsibilities of a camp counselor - click HERE. 2) Complete and submit an employment application. The completed application must be submitted by March 6, 2026. Please email a clean scanned copy or picture of your application to PBrodie@moorestown.nj.us or mail/drop off your application at our office: Moorestown Department of Parks and Recreation, 111 West Second Street, Moorestown, NJ 08057, Attn: Pat Brodie. Our building is the 3-story brick building across the parking lot from town hall and the library. 3) After your application has been received, you will be scheduled for an in-person interview. The interviews will likely happen in March. 4) Offers will be extended after all interviews have been completed. Note: Not all candidates who are interviewed will be extended offers of employment.
