Taxi

Taxis are the most accessible means of transportation to navigate around Hong Kong. Below is a list of taxi fares from various locations for your reference. Please note that taxi drivers only accept payment in HK dollars.

• Hong Kong West Kowloon → CUHK ~ HK$225 (US$29)

• Lo Wu/ Lok Ma Chau Control Point → CUHK ~ HK$270 (US$35)

MTR – Hong Kong’s railway system

• Visiting CUHK by Mass Transit Railway (MTR) is quick and convenient. Alight at University Station (大學站) on the East Rail Line. Exit B is closest to the CUHK Cheng Yu Tung Building (CYT) (鄭裕彤樓).

• MTR operates from approximately 5:30 AM to 1:00 AM daily. Fares can be paid using an Octopus card, contactless credit/debit cards, or mobile payment options like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
