Center of the Universe AI Entertainment announces auditions for Silicon Valley Twelfth Night.

In this wildly funny reimagining of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, Silicon Valley’s AI obsessed spiral through ambition, desire, and algorithmic chaos in a relentless quest for power, connection, and meaning. As identities blur and hearts misfire, learning how to love — and be loved — becomes a gloriously messy affair. In a world obsessed with optimization, one question remains: Is love a feature… or a bug?

Auditions: June 14 from 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM and June 15 from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Rehearsals: Sept. 7 to Nov. 5 in San Jose (761 Mabury Road #20, San Jose CA 95133) typically most Sunday through Thursday evenings
Performances: Nov. 6, 7 & 8 at the Saratoga Civic Theater (13777 Fruitvale Ave, Saratoga CA 95070)

All roles are volunteer and non-AEA. Per diem offered to Adult Actors to offset expenses.

To audition:

Step 1: Complete the audition form; include your resume, highlighting your special skills, and a headshot (can be professional or a good selfie)
Step 2: Sign up for a 10-minute slot for your in-person audition. Prepare a 1 to 2 minute comedy monologue. You may be asked to do a short improv.

Roles

We’re looking for strong comedic instinct, improvisational ability, expressive movement, and your unique personality! Actors may play multiple roles.

Orsino Ma - Male presenting, age 26-38. Nerdy, cute, charming. Founder of Love Tech, inventor of the Male Emotional Upgrade System pitching Love Tech AI girlfriend to investors. Wants to learn how to love and learn how to be loved. Excellent comedic sense and awkward charm.
Sebastian - Male presenting, age 26-30. More nerdy than Orsino. Orsino’s new co-founder. Twin to Viola. Good mover. Thinks he’s a charmer (still a virgin). A brilliant but socially awkward engineer trying to solve emotional problems through logic. Excellent comedic sense and awkward charm. Also plays Leo, a wealthy eccentric whose pheromones you can smell.
Olivia - Female presenting, age 18-30. AI Female Robot Relationship Coach 1.0. The original model. “Roboty”, buggy and malfunctioning. Strong physical and improvisational movement.
Viola - Female presenting, age 26-30. Twin to Sebastian. Painter and vibe coder. Fast, light, playful energy. Worldly and witty. Has some sway over Orsino.
Lucy - Female presenting, age 30-50. Rich. Wants the perfect human to love her. Can sing, dance, and do a kungfu fight scene with confidence.
Chevolio - Male presenting, age 40-60. Anti-AI protestor. Charming. Can sing and dance with confidence.
Show Host - Gender & age flexible. Poised, intelligent, articulate, and focused on personal beauty and social initiatives. Strong physical and improvisational movement.
Elon Cruise - Male presenting, age 30-50. Confident & intense wealthy investor. Chaotic. Hard to impress. Low empathy. Drifts slightly as if in zero gravity. Perhaps can moonwalk.
Mia Jobson - Female presenting, age 30-40. Wealthy investor. Sarcastic. Beautiful. Wise. Masculine. Vain. Always livestreaming. Influencer.
Sunday Wal - Male presenting, age 50-60. East Asian background preferred. Wealthy investor. The Keanu Reeves of Silicon Valley. Sharp. Agile. Unstoppable. Likes to meditate. Host of The Silicon Valley Late Night Tech Show.
Alice - Female presenting, age flexible. Anti-AI protestor. Always in a wedding dress. Strong physical and improvisational movement.
Betty - Female presenting, age flexible. Anti-AI protestor. Streamer & influencer. Likes to dress sexy. Strong physical and improvisational movement.
Outdated Bot - Male presenting, age flexible. Old model. Anti-AI protestor. Strong physical and improvisational movement.
