Watching cartoons early in morning on weekends and reading the Sunday comics every week, Athena has always had a strong affinity towards Art and Animation. With a love for drawing, Athena wouldn't waste a minute to draw whatever ideas popped up in their head (even getting in trouble drawing in class). These ideas sprang from anything: a favorite book series, creating scenarios while listening to music, or even building a world from a game of play pretend with their childhood friends! Athena loved bringing these characters to life and even now, those character are growing and changing as Athena themselves keeps developing their artistic skills. Despite their love for the animations they watched as a kid, Athena is spurred on to create stories that reflect the lived experiences of their own. Containing themes surrounding family, a yearning for acceptance, and exploring one's own darkness, Athena hopes to show the multi dimensions of human relationships within their own art!
