The decision regarding the acceptance of proposals will be communicated before April 20th, 2024.

Participants must keep in mind that the proposal submitted, if accepted, will be the version that will be published in the congress proceedings.

Young researchers can opt for one of the Travel Grant Awards to cover the costs of their participation in the Congress. Check if you meet the requirements!

Communication and symposium proposals on the following topics will be welcome (in Spanish or English):

A. Logic, History and Philosophy of Logic
B. Philosophy of Language
C. Philosophy of Mind and Epistemology
D. Philosophy and Methodology of the Sciences
E. History of Science
F. Social Studies of Science and Technology
G. Argumentation
H. John Dupré's Philosophy

Online communications will not be accepted

Communications

Communication proposals will have a maximum of 5,000 characters (around 700 words), and 1,000 characters for references. 

Please note that, if accepted, the text you propose will be the version that will be published in the congress proceedings. 

Up to five people per communication are allowed.

The presentation of a communication is not incompatible with the proposal of a symposium. 

The proposals must be blinded for peer-review.

Symposia

In the case of symposium proposals, the following must be included in the form:

a) A justification of the symposium's relevance to the conference (maximum 3,000 characters, i.e. 500 words), and 1,000 characters for references.

b) A brief summary of each speaker's presentation (maximum 4,000 characters, i.e., 600 words)

Each symposium must include a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 speakers, plus the person who acts as the symposium's coordinator.
