Girl Scout Cookie Valentines
for Seniors - 2024
Hyattsville Girl Scouts Claire and Maggie are continuing their partnership with Hyattsville Aging in Place (HAP) to make and deliver handmade Valentines to local seniors along with a box of Girl Scout cookies. Maggie and Claire, members of Honor Cadette Troop 23007, have been volunteering at the HAP valentine event since they were old enough to use scissors! Now freshmen in high school, they're aware that isolation experienced by all of us is more keenly felt by seniors in our community and look forward to again putting their art skills to work.
How does it work? You pay for any number of boxes of cookies. The girls will deliver a box with a valentine to an area senior. You have the option to personalize the valentine (see below).
Want to make a valentine for the girls to deliver? Hand-made valentines can be mailed to Valentines ℅ HAP, 5104 42nd Ave. Hyattsville, MD 20781.
