The aim of the School is to provide intensive mini-courses in several areas of current mathematical interest, as well as to present methods for applying theoretical tools to Financial Mathematics, Biomedicine and Mathematical Physics. It is intended mainly for master students (laurea magistrale) and Ph.D. students. 

The School will also organize additional, informal, talks on topics concerning applications of Mathematics and Statistics to Science, Finance and Industry, as well as social events related to Japanese and Italian culture.

Data at the crossroads between Mathematics, Statistics and Economics

The aim of this workshop is to bring together Economists searching for new models for their data, Mathematicians working on models, Statisticians working with data in Economics, and to encourage them to present their ideas in such a way as to help develop new interdisciplinary interactions. 


Previous editions:

This is the fifth event in a series of Schools and Workshops organized both in Japan (Hokkaido) and in Itay (Pisa), starting in 2015.
