Fabrication of porous MOF base material and application in the detection of hepatic cancer

Hepatic cancer is the most common cancer and it’s not easy to diagnosis in the early stage. lt’s also the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths. In this study, I tried to use metal organic framwork (MOF) as the basic material to fabricate the biosensor. MOFs have really high surface area and high porous property which can be identified as advanced materials. Glycine N-methyltransferase (GNMT) is a protein with multiple functions. It plays an important role in the regulation of the hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). In abscent of GNMT can lead to tumour growth and result in hepatic cancer. This study is tested with cyclic voltametery (CV) and use the MOF base biosensor to detect the GNMT.
