The Marvel Job is a new position created within Marvel that will oversee the company's comic book publishing efforts. This position will be focused on launching new titles, expanding Marvel's presence in the digital market, and overseeing the company's efforts to create and distribute original content.
Responsibilities:
Develop, organize, and execute a plan for publishing titles with strong sales potential
Develop, organize, and execute a plan for publishing titles with potential for international growth
Manage the production of content for digital distribution (i.e. Netflix)
Manage the production of content for physical distribution (i.e. print)
Oversee the development of new comic book properties
Track sales data and profitability of key properties
Develop and maintain relationships with retailers/distributors/publishers
Maintain relationships with Marvel’s partners in digital distribution (i.e. Netflix)
