Materials and Methods:

Calcium imaging of NeuroD:GaMP6f zebrafish forebrain neurons using two-photon microscopy.

Use MATLAB program to calculate and automatically arrange the calcium images into the shape of the brain.

Description:

Calcium images from various regions are combined to form a representation of the brain, just as our understanding of the brain is constructed through the accumulation of experiment after experiment.
