Materials and Methods

Cultured primary neuron expressing GFP was analyzed by expansion microscopy. The image was taken by LSM900 with Airyscan2.

Description

Neurons are the main character for information storage and transfer in organisms. Protrusions that emerge from dendrites called dendritic spines are the smallest functional unit for neuronal signal transduction. Using expansion microscopy technique, more detailed information in the tiny structure can be explored.
