Tea Jackson-Strong

Tea is a Gates Millennium Scholar. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2021. During her time on campus, she was involved with numerous student organizations including the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, Association for Women Geoscientists, and National Society for Black Engineers. She tutored calculus and participated in three different research labs. After graduating, she spent time working as an LTE Hydrogeologist for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection and as a contract Hydrologist for the United States Geological Survey. Tea currently works as a Project Engineer at TRC Companies.
