How Is The School Involved With The Local Native Community?
Yale's Native American Cultural Center is a proud partner of the Mashantucket Pequot Nation and Mohegan Tribe. Tribal leaders from Mashantucket Pequot and Mohegan have presented to Native students a part of the local tribal leadership speaker series, NACC worked with Mohegan on the repatriation of hundreds of items from Yale's stores, and Mohegan hosts Native seniors during their annual NACC senior ceremony.
