The Commissioners Pike bridge is located in Pittsgrove, NJ in Salem County. The bridge has a culvert transferring the water from Algonkin Lake into Oldmans Creek. The culvert has large spalls, heavy scaling, wide cracks, and is in overall poor condition. The purpose of this project is to reconstruct the culvert in order to make the overall bridge safer. Also reconstructing the culvert is going to increase the capacity available on the bridge. The figures below show the pictures of the culvert and the damages on the culvert.
