The Public School Code of 1949 governs all matters related to School Districts within the Commonwealth. According to the Public School Code, school director districts must be reapportioned after each Federal census is officially gathered.
A school director district reapportionment commission is appointed by the mayor and legislative authority of the municipalities within the school district. The Commission takes on the responsibility to reapportion the school district based on the official Federal Census data. Click Here to learn more.
