For those who were able to attend the February meeting on the 20 th , thanks. I realize that the anticipation of “Snowageddon” prevented many of attending and that is OK. We were honored to have our Divan Representative, Keith Seplak attend and he provided us with information regarding what is going on at El Zaribah.

We were honored to have our Divan Representative, Keith Seplak attend and he provided us with information regarding what is going on at El Zaribah.
We will be meeting at 3:30 on March 12 to carpool down to the Valley for the El Zaribah meeting. Last month only 2 of us went and I would like to see more of us going like the old days so mark your calendars and try to make it.

The last meeting at El Zaribah we learned that in the next 17 years there is going to be many changes in the Hospitals. There will be Shrine Hospitals closing but more clinics will be opened. They anticipate some hospitals being opened in South America and the Philippines. The closures are due to advances in medicine that allow more out patient surgeries and less time in the hospital leaving more beds empty. There will also be some partnering with existing hospitals to provide services for our kids, but our Doctors and Staff will all be Shrine and identified as such. This is long term planning so don’t expect anything overnight.
